Birthday SPLASH!

This past weekend, we put on a 'Birthday SPLASH' for Gregory & Lilyan's combined birthday party. Everything had to be gender neutral for the duo, so we based our designs off of BEACH BALLS - because, honestly, what kid doesn't like them? 

Of course, we started with the treats table - there were lots of tasty goodies from 'Beach Balls' & 'Life Rings', to 'Pool Noodles' & 'Fish out of Water'. 

Our super stylish baked goods were made by The Mad Batter Cafe - She went above & beyond with the amazing and really delicious doughboy pool cake, life ring cupcakes, & beach ball cake pops!

You can't have a sweets table without something to wet your whistle - We provided 'Pool Water' in Beach Ball Cups to keep our little ones quenched while playing in the hot summer heat! 

We also arranged for Kona Ice to spend their afternoon serving up Sno-Cones to our party guests - a fun idea that made for HAPPY kids!

Leading outside, we created a Beach Ball Arch to help carry our theme into the backyard - how fun is this??

We had kiddie pools & play toys scattered about the yard to keep the little ones occupied, while the bigger kids spent their afternoon swimming around the pool.

Needless to say, we had a great turn out with lots of happy kids!

'REEL Good Time' Birthday Party

This past weekend we got the chance to plan our very first OFFICIAL 'A Trace of Lace' event!

The birthday boy chose to have a fishing themed birthday party, so we expanded on his idea. From Jell-O 'Fish Bowls' to 'Dirt N Worms', we scrutinized each and every detail to make sure we brought his theme to life.

Our first task, the dessert table...

His beautiful table was filled with lots of delicious goodies, but wouldn't have been complete without the 'Bobber' cake pops & birthday cake made by The Mad Batter Cafe in Henderson - the sweets were not only beautiful, but delectable too!

We also designed a table full of snacks - included were 'Fish N Chips', 'Power Dip', 'Fishin' Poles', & a 'Chum Ball', trying to keep with the theme while still offering different options!

We also offered a drink station - Lake Water (Blue Kool-Aid) & Brackish Water (Sun Tea) which followed with our theme perfectly.

Needless to say, we had one VERY happy little boy, pleased with all things FISHING!

The Best Day Ever!

Welcome to our blog!

First, let us introduce ourselves. We are two very best friends, Nicole & Angelique, who found our passion in the planning/coordination business while perfecting Angelique's very own wedding - WE felt this was our true calling, so then came "A Trace of Lace".

Angelique & Jerome said "I Do!" at the Westin Lake Las Vegas on May 8th, 2015.

Thanks to Rowena Swinson Photography, we have beautiful pictures to showcase all the hard work and planning that went into Angelique & Jerome's BEST DAY EVER!

Catherine at Layers of Lovely provided the beautiful floral arrangements throughout the day, from the bouquets to the table toppers, she definitely outdid herself.

Careful consideration went into each and every detail until we were sure that everything on their special day would be absolutely perfect. From the blush & lace linens, to the carefully crafted cake by Gimme Some Sugar, we couldn't have asked for better vendors.

The night would have been incomplete without the games, commentary, and great music selection from DJ Livinh - he kept the guests partying into the night!

We can file our first beautiful wedding under a complete success!
