Bridal SPECTACULAR

This past weekend, we had an amazing (and FUN) opportunity to design and decorate a tablescape for Mad Batter's Inspiration Ave at The Bridal Spectacular Expo - given less than a week to not only come up with a vision, but find each perfect detail to bring it to life, we couldn't be happier with our final creation.

We spent Friday morning celebrating the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Expo's 25th year, what an accomplishment - We hope to still be participating with their company 25 years from now!

Then, we got to work.

We spent countless hours meticulously considering every aspect of our design, until we perfected each detail - from the linen drops & golden uplighting to turquoise linen & choice of flowers, we had many decisions to make in quite a short amount of time, but this is what we live for!

Since we were tablescaping a dessert bar, that was our main focus. Once we finalized our color palette and theme, we chose our linens and draping - ivory and gold, with a chandelier to bring in a glamorous element.

We kept our glassware and floral fairly neutral - ivory, gold, champagne, and silver, with a pop of pink, so we didn't take away from our main focus, the beautiful desserts.

We chose high cocktail tables to accompany the main table. To add dimension, the turquoise linens and silver beaded glassware really made the ivory & bright pink bouquets POP! We incorporated loose gold sequins and gold sequin bows to tie in our favorite detail, the gold center drape.

Once all of our little details came together, the decor flowed perfectly. Bright pinks & gold sparkle, with a little elegance and glam resulted in a beautiful tablescape - EXACTLY what we envisioned.

And meet the master baker behind the custom cake masterpieces, Brittney, of The Mad Batter Cafe & Bakery - without her, none of this would have been possible!

Of course, we couldn't call it a night without taking a picture with our masterpiece!

And to top off our weekend, WE WON THE BEST BOOTH SET UP for Inspiration Avenue, voted by the brides who attended the show - what a great honor, we are truly humbled & blessed to be given the opportunity to do what we love!

Time For Tea, I'm Officially 3!

This past weekend, we designed a birthday celebration for a beautiful, little 3 year old princess. She chose to have a tea party with her closest friends, so we took her idea and ran with it.

We spent weeks prepping & gathering all sorts of tea supplies to make sure all the details, both big & small, would be absolutely perfect for this little princess. We collected all sorts of tea cup & saucer sets, beautiful tea pots, and coordinating decor to keep every detail within the chosen scheme.

Our next step was refinishing her sweets table, and it turned out gorgeous! The desserts were perfectly crafted by The Mad Batter Cafe & Bakery - the cake, cupcakes & macaroons couldn't have been more beautiful or delicious!

We set the table for tea, paying extra attention to each & every detail - we chose several different fruity herbal (non caffeinated, of course) teas, honey sticks, and sugar cubes to help decorate the table. Each guest chose their favorite tea cup & saucer set to use for the party, and bring them home as a favor afterwards. Per usual, we had to throw in lace detail to keep the affair dainty, yet elegant.

To be served with the tea, we chose macaroons & mini cupcakes - a true tea fare.

We also set up a present nook - including a beautiful chair for the birthday girl to sit upon while opening her goodies.

It is safe to say that 'Time For Tea, I'm 3!' was officially a HUGE success - not only did we have one happy birthday girl, but also very happy party guests, and that's what it's all about.

Now to prep for our upcoming holiday party, details soon to come...

Time to FALL in Love!

With Fall in full swing, we're loving everything pumpkin - the BEST part about pumpkins, they're so versatile and can be used for just about anything!  Since our holiday parties are right around the corner, we've decided to share our very favorite Fall inspired wedding ideas with you beautiful people.

Pumpkins make a great addition while decorating your perfectly planned aisle - whether it be rustic or elegant, they're easily incorporated into either to add that special FALL pop!

When setting your table scape, pumpkins add a unique texture that give your table added depth and beauty. To make your event more rustic, add a touch of burlap & pinecones, but if you're going for the elegant feel, keep it light with white pumpkins & touches of gold - either way, your guests are sure to fall in love.

Don't count the pumpkins out when creating the ultimate fall card table - they can be used for anything from your decor, to seat assignments, and even as a guest book!

Of course we couldn't end our pumpkin post without a bit of lace - remember, the littlest details can make the biggest difference!

We are totally crushing on all things Fall, from the changing of the trees to the weather. We can't wait to see what the end of the year brings!
